Gold Can be found in 2 ways: 1) in the overworld where it is rarer or 2) in the nether where it is very common. It can make Golden Apples, but DO NOT make golden armor Other than Boots for Piglins. It is WORSE THAN LEATHER ARMOR!!!!

4. Lapis

Lapis, Unlike Gold, it is Very Useful. It can be used to enchant items and make Blue dye. The main use for it is enchanting with an enchanting table.

3. Diamonds

Why is Diamond at #3? Because It is not as rare as the other 2. It is a VERY USEFUL item. If you're playing in a version before 1.16, it is the best armor and tools. However, in 1.16 there was a better kind of armor/tools added.

2. Netherite

This Ore Can Only be found in the nether. This Ore also is very special, because instead of crafting armor from the ingots like you do with other armor, you use a Smithing Table. to upgrade a Diamond item piece to a netherite item

1. Emerald

Ok. I have an excuse for this to be here. It is the rarest ore in the game. First of all, You have to be in a specific biome to find it. Next, you have to be deep enough to find it. Then, you have to hunt forever to find them and then when you FINALLY FIND SOME, You discover that there is ONLY ONE. They only spawn in groups of 1. When you finally find enough to make armor, You Can't. This ore is almost completely useless. The only use is trading with villagers.

gold gold

Gold is an ore that can be found in the Overworld and the nether. It is useful for making Golden Apples and trading with Piglins. However, DO NOT use it for tools or armor (other than *boots for piglins*) The Tools' Durability is 30, which is Half the durability of Wood. However, gold tools are the fastest tools, so they can be used for mining some obsidian that is blocking your path. They also have the best chance for good enchantments. The Armor, however, is useless. Never make it. Even leather is better.

Lapis is an ore that can be found in the overworld. It is used for enchanting without enchanted books and making Blue Dye. Similar to Redstone and Nether Gold, it drops multiple ores when mined. It is the Only Ore that can be made into a dye. It cannot be made in to armor or tools. This ore can get confused with Diamonds when mining, so look carefully.

Diamond is an ore that can be found in the overworld, mineshaft chests, and end city chests. It is used for Armor/tools and Jukeboxes. Diamond armor/tools is the 2nd best Armor/tools, only beaten by Netherite. It can only be found under Y-Level 16. A Diamond pickaxe is required to Mine Obsidian and Ancient Debris (Netherite).

Netherite (ancient debris) is an ore that can only be found in the nether. It is used the same way as diamonds, but it can make Lodestones instead of Jukeboxes. Lodestones, if connected to a compass, the compass will point to the lodestone. This is useful because it can prevent players being lost in the nether. Netherite is the only ore (other than diamond) that uses a Smithing Table. The way to find it is going to the nether and finding Ancient Debris (Ancient Debris Kind of looks like a cinnamon bun.) Then you smelt it into netherite scrap. Once you have 4 scrap, combine it in a crafting table with 4 Gold and you get a netherite ingot. Then, go to a smithing table. Then Put a Diamond item (ex. pickaxe) in the left slot. Then put the ingot in the middle slot and you get a Netherite Pickaxe.

Emerald is an ore that can only be found in Extreme Hills biomes. Its only use is for trading with villagers and Beacons.. While it is very helpful for trading, it is completely useless in everything else. There is absolutely no reason to go mining for them, though. Just trade stuff to villagers for them.
